The whisky has a deep nose with a long structure. The French oak delivers notes of mocha, spice, butter & fruits leading to a dry style influence of the French oak.
This single malt is the marriage of three casks. One cask has spent a full term ageing in Tonnellerie Meyrieux French oak (Tradition medium plus) and the other two casks spent three years in Buffalo Trace ex-bourbon casks prior to spending 10 months in shaved and re-charred Tonnellerie Meyrieux French oak (Tradition medium plus).
