This annual limited edition begins its maturation journey in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels, giving a base of soft vanilla and honey. Further enhancement follows, with a longer finishing in hand-selected 30 year old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks from the González Byass bodega in Spain, exclusive to The Dalmore.
The placing of these casks close to the cold, damp floor and walls of the dunnage warehouses at The Dalmore Distillery, allows this whisky to reach its full potential: an exceptionally unique single malt with a rich, deep chocolate character.
