Celebrating over four decades of collaboration with Spain's finest sherry cask makers, the Paez family, we created this 10 year old single malt whiskey, aged for a minimum of 10 years in bourbon and sherry casks, married and finished in aromatic oloroso sherry butts from the Paez-Morilla bodega, Jerez, Spain. The result: The honeyed maltiness of the regular Bushmills 10 year old is intensified in this darker flavoured liquid, available only in Global travel retail.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Oaky vanilla, alongside sticky apricot compote, and spicy fruit cake.
Palate: Sherry sweetness, with sun dried raisins, warm clove, and a touch of toasted marzipan.
Finish: Baking spices, with the fruitcake lingering.
